We have clients needing care in the following areas Mt. Vernon, White Plains, Yonkers, Eastchester, New Rochelle, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Lower Westchester, and Bronx Counties. We are looking for an HHA/PCA or Caregiver who can work PT/FT hours, weekdays and/or weekends. SYNERGY HomeCare of Westchester offers: BASE PAY $18.55/HOUR WITH PAY UP TO $20/HOUR DEPENDING ON SKILL/ASSIGNMENT/DRIVER Independently owned franchise with a family feeling Team oriented approach PAID SICK TIME WEEKLY PAY SCHEDULE Direct deposit Time-and-a-half pay for overtime and Synergy recognized holidays Flexible schedules and matching caregivers with nearby clients when possible Employee recognition programs Employee referral bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist clients with mobility devices as needed.
  • Provide medication reminders to clients.
  • Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping if requested.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures set by office administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Synergy team to ensure proper care for clients.

Requirements

  • Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to providing quality care.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Successful completion of a thorough background screening.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening.
  • Completion of 2 professional references.
  • A medical physical completed within the past 10 months with clearance for habituation.
  • Evidence of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test within the last year.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in home and community care.
  • Ability to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
