About the position

Elite Healthcare Consultants is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Aides (PCA) in the Suffern, NY area. This role is essential in providing support to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to maintain their quality of life. As a PCA, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, personal hygiene assistance, and social interaction. You will also be required to follow each patient's personalized care plan, which is tailored to meet their specific needs. We are committed to providing our caregivers with the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles. For the right candidates, we offer free PCA certification, which can be completed in as little as 1-2 days or up to 6 days, depending on prior experience. This position allows for flexible scheduling, enabling you to choose your own hours, whether you prefer part-time or full-time work. Our compensation package is competitive, with pay rates starting at $16.20 per hour, and we offer direct deposit or a VISA pay card option for your convenience. Additionally, we provide paid accrued sick time, health insurance, and a free annual health check-up. Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment.
  • Help with laundry and shopping for necessary items.
  • Engage in social interaction and companionship with patients.
  • Follow personalized care plans for each patient.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
  • Willingness to obtain PCA/HHA certification if not already certified.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus but not required.
