About the position

The Personal Care Aide at Mary Rebecca's Village LLC is responsible for assisting elderly disabled residents with personal care and daily living tasks in a Family Care Home setting. This role emphasizes delivering quality care and fostering a supportive environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication
• Prepare and cook meals
• Light house cleaning
• Keep accurate records
• Attend to residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Take residents to appointments/outings
• Participate in scheduled activities with residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to assist residents with personal care tasks while respecting their dignity and privacy
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the Administrator
• Integrity, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
