About the position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role involves providing essential non-skilled personal care services to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is crucial in assisting residents with daily activities and maintaining a clean and safe living environment, all while adhering to relevant regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-skilled personal care tasks for residents as assigned.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Handle housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Serve meals to residents.
• Manage medication as per guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 10th grade education or comparable work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Verification of not being listed on the Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registry.
• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Capability to perform skills learned through on-the-job training.
