About the position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role at Motherly Comfort Home Care LLC is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing care to seniors. This position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment, focusing on the well-being and daily living needs of clients. The PCA will assist with various personal care tasks and ensure clients receive the attention and respect they deserve.

Responsibilities

• Help with activities of daily living, such as walking, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping.
• Remind clients to take their medication.
• Monitor and report changes in client's health and behavior.
• Address client needs with respect and attention to safety.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Covid Vaccination of at least 2 doses is recommended but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred).
• TB test (preferred).
• Home Care Aide Registry #/Live Scan Fingerprint (preferred).
• SSN Card (preferred).
• Covid Vaccine Card (complete dose) (preferred).
• Covid Vaccine Card (complete dose with Booster) (preferred).
