As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Edgewood, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and respectful personal care that fosters independence and confidence among our residents during their golden years. This position is part-time and operates on a day shift schedule, ensuring that you have your evenings and weekends free. You will be working in a supportive environment where kindness and dignity are paramount in all interactions with residents. Training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to meet the needs of our residents and adhere to all Edgewood policies, including HIPAA regulations. In this role, you will assist residents with their daily activities, which may include dressing, bathing, and other personal care tasks. You will also be responsible for documenting the care provided to each resident accurately. Your interactions will not only focus on physical assistance but also on building meaningful relationships with the residents, making their experience at Edgewood as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
