About the position

The Personal Care Assistant at Home at Heart Care is responsible for providing essential support to clients in their daily activities. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with personal care tasks and household chores, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform grocery shopping and run errands for clients.
• Provide routine household care including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.
• Dust, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of floors and windows.
• Change bed linens and do laundry for clients.
• Sort, organize, and manage household items as requested.
• Take out the trash and ensure a tidy living space.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Willingness to learn and complete all required training.
• Strong people-oriented skills and a desire to serve others.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving or personal assistance is a plus but not mandatory.
