About the position

As a PCA + CMA at Edgewood, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and confidence during their golden years. Your primary responsibility will be to pass medications according to each resident's individualized care plan, ensuring that they receive the correct dosages at the appropriate times. In addition to medication management, you will assist residents with personal cares, which includes helping them dress, shower, and perform other activities of daily living (ADLs). Your interactions with residents will be guided by kindness and respect, as you strive to provide dignity in every encounter. Documentation is a critical aspect of this role, and you will be expected to accurately record the care provided to each resident. Adhering to HIPAA regulations and all Edgewood policies is essential to maintain the privacy and safety of our residents. This position requires a Medication Aide certification, and while prior caregiving experience is desired, a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn are equally important. You will also have the opportunity to train new employees, sharing your knowledge and skills to foster a supportive team environment. Responsibilities
