About the position

As a PCA + CMA at Edgewood, you will play a vital role in providing care to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and confidence during their golden years. Your primary responsibility will be to pass medications according to each resident's care plan, ensuring that they receive the correct dosages at the appropriate times. In addition to medication management, you will assist residents with personal cares, which include dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). It is essential to demonstrate kindness and provide dignity during all interactions with residents, as this fosters a supportive and respectful environment. You will also be responsible for documenting the care provided to residents accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and all other Edgewood policies. This role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. You will have the opportunity to train new employees, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. Responsibilities

  • Pass medications according to each resident's care plan

Requirements

  • Medication Aide certified, required
  • Prior caregiving experience, desired
