About the position

As a Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide at Jobeey Home Care Services, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in their homes. This position is designed for individuals who are compassionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in need. You will assist clients with activities of daily living, ensuring they receive the support necessary to maintain their independence and dignity. Your responsibilities will include helping with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of the patients. In this role, you will be expected to monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare provider, ensuring that any concerns are addressed promptly. You will assist with mobility and transfers, which may involve safely positioning patients and handling clients of varying sizes, including those who may be larger in stature. Light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry, will also be part of your responsibilities, along with meal preparation and assistance with feeding when necessary. The position requires adherence to care plans and maintaining accurate medical documentation to ensure continuity of care. You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals. Flexibility is key, as you may need to adapt to changing schedules or patient needs throughout your workweek.

Responsibilities
