About the position

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Community Resources for Independence (CRI), you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in the Hermitage area. This position is designed for compassionate individuals who are eager to support clients in their daily activities and help them achieve their personal goals. You will be responsible for accompanying clients on walks, engaging in community activities, and assisting them with errands such as appointments and shopping. Your role will also include providing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care tasks, all aimed at empowering clients to live independently and actively participate in their communities. At CRI, we believe in the importance of training and support for our staff. You will receive paid initial and ongoing training, both in the classroom and online, to equip you with the necessary skills to support your clients effectively. Our supervisors, schedulers, and trainers are available 24/7 to provide guidance and assistance, ensuring that you have the resources you need to succeed in your role. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance.
  • Must be able to pass various background checks.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation.
