Responsibilities

  • Ensure client receives their medication on time
  • Help client dress, bathe, eat, etc.
  • Cook/prepare meals according to the customer's restrictions
  • Do light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Run errands and accompany to doctor's appointments, as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as personal care assistant
  • Committed to health & safety
  • Able to do light housework and cooking
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Positive and compassionate attitude
  • Strong ethics
  • CPR and First Aid certified (online certification from NationalCPR foundation is not accepted by the State of Georgia)
  • Negative TB test (valid for one year from date of test)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
