About the position
As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing full care to high needs consumers, including assisting them with personal care tasks, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. You will accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and other errands, helping them achieve their dreams and empowering them to live independently within the community. The position offers flexible hours, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while making a positive impact in the lives of your clients.
Responsibilities
- Join clients on walks and fun activities in the community
- Accompany clients for appointments, shopping, or other errands as needed
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks
- Help empower clients to live independently and be part of the community
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Must be able to pass various background checks
- Must have experience with full care and hoyer lift
- Must be able to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation
