In this position, the PCA will be responsible for providing personal care and grooming assistance, as well as helping the student with organizational skills and managing impulsivity. The PCA will also be trained in crisis prevention techniques and strategies, which may include restraint as a last resort, to ensure the safety and well-being of the student. This training will be provided by the Central Bucks School District (CBSD). The employment for this position is contingent upon the requirement for personal care services as outlined in the student's individualized educational program (IEP). The PCA will be expected to work collaboratively with other staff members, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with both students and adults.
