About the position

BrightStar Care is seeking Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide essential personal care services to seniors and older adults in their homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily tasks, mobility work, and ensuring their comfort and safety while receiving competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide various personal care services as needed.
• Assist clients with daily tasks including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
• Support clients with active and passive mobility work as defined by their care plan, documenting any observed changes to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
