We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to work in the home of individuals who have healthcare challenges and need domestic assistance. The PCA plays a crucial role in providing essential support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home environment. This position requires a dedicated individual who is patient and has a genuine passion for helping others. A successful PCA not only provides care but also ensures that the dignity of the individual is maintained throughout the caregiving process. The PCA will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include preparing meals, performing light cleaning duties, and assisting clients with basic hygiene activities. This role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence while receiving the necessary support for their daily activities. The PCA will travel to clients' homes daily, which requires reliable transportation and a commitment to providing consistent care. The position can be either part-time or full-time, with expected hours ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week, depending on client needs and availability. In this role, the PCA will also ensure that clients take their medication as prescribed and assist them with personal hygiene activities such as bathing and using the bathroom. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in caregiving, particularly in senior care, and will possess First Aid certification.
