Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Perform household support tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding clients.
• Support clients with range of motion exercises and ambulation, including the use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Remind clients to take their medications.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to providing quality care and being present for clients.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
