About the position

I am looking for a competent personal care assistant to work with me. I have cerebral palsy and I use a power wheelchair full time. I need assistance with all of my daily living activities, such as feeding, transfers, hygiene, laundry, light housework, and being able to assist with my personal business and errands. If you're a compassionate, positive person who isn't afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. The work location is in Ashford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, transfers, and hygiene.
• Perform laundry and light housework duties.
• Help with personal business and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of the client.

Requirements

• Must be female only as per the job requirements.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Flexible hours are necessary.
• Reliability is a must.
• Experience in caregiving preferred, with at least 1 year of experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home care is a plus.
