Responsibilities

  • Assist Client with ambulatory mobility and toileting
  • Care for clothing (washing, drying, ironing, and putting away/hanging up)
  • Assist or administer bed or tub bath, sponge bath, shower, or setting up supplies
  • Assist Client with dressing, hair care, skin care, mouth care
  • Assist with meal preparation, handling, feeding, food storage, and pest control
  • Record vital signs (BP, temp, HR, and resp) and record blood sugar
  • Observe, record, and report self-administered medications
  • Recognize and report indicators of abuse, neglect, illness, etc.
  • Provide basic first aid and respond to emergency needs as they occur per company policy
  • Provide companionship/emotional support
  • Record every visit accordingly on the mobile app following proper compliance procedures

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be able to record visits on a reliable mobile device

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in caregiving (1 year preferred)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • CNA Certification (preferred)
  • Ability to work day and night shifts (preferred)
