Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including those with autism, hospice care patients, and children.
• Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Provide patient care and support under the direction of healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
• Perform heavy lifting and transferring of individuals as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism, hospice care patients, or in childcare is preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and ability to uphold them in all interactions.
• Familiarity with vital sign monitoring and basic patient care techniques.
• Understanding of assisted living principles and practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
