The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role at BAYADA Home Health Care involves providing essential personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Help clients with range of motion exercises and ambulation assistance.
• Remind clients to take their medications.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required.
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to providing quality care and being present for clients.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
