About the position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Green Pastures Home Care, LLC is responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities and maintaining a healthy environment, while also reporting on client progress to the service supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess and report on client progress and any changes to the service supervisor.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure a secure and healthy environment for clients.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as mobility, bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, and continence needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge in physiology, nutrition, and nursing.
• Ability to create a safe and effective environment.
• Strong client relationship skills and attentiveness.
• Proof of skills validation to the service supervisor.
• Positive workplace attitude.
• Clean background check (no convictions related to controlled substances, healthcare fraud, abuse, assault, or theft).

Nice-to-haves

• At least one year of in-home aide experience is recommended but not required.
