Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring, catheter care, and stretching exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with meal preparation for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Escort clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to care plans and ensure clients' well-being.

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving roles preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency medicine, hospital settings, clinics, and geriatric care is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Have a valid driver's license to use the client's handicapped accessible van.
