About the position

Savant of Jurupa Valley is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (Caregiver) to enhance the lives of senior residents by providing exceptional care and support. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their physical and mental well-being in a warm and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, and transferring residents to and from activities and meals.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid First Aid Certification according to state regulations.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Nice-to-haves
