About the position

LT Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients, and promoting their overall well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling options for both full-time and part-time work in the Montgomery, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, eating, light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and shopping.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transfer.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment preferred.
• Valid CNA license or completion of a CNA Program.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Reliable transportation every single day.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
