We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Attendants (PCA) to join our team at Extended Hearts Care Agency in Beavercreek, OH. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with multiple shifts available throughout the day. The shifts are 5 hours long, with three daily options: 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM. We are particularly looking to fill weekend shifts, and ideally, we would like to have two PCAs per shift to ensure comprehensive care. As a PCA, you will be responsible for assisting with various personal care tasks, including transferring, showering, dressing, toileting, cooking, feeding, grooming, cleaning, organizing, and providing transportation for appointments and errands. Additionally, you will help care for our service dog, Murdock, a friendly and well-behaved black lab. This includes feeding, grooming, and taking him out for bathroom breaks, even in challenging weather conditions. It is essential that candidates are comfortable working with large dogs, as this is a significant part of the role. Candidates must be physically capable of performing all required duties, including lifting, as we may need substitutes for PCAs who are unavailable due to illness or vacation. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate nature, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to the unique routines of the job.
