About the position

Wichita Home Health Services is seeking Primary Care Attendants to provide essential personal care and light housekeeping services to clients in various locations. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work up to 39 hours per week, catering to the needs of seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or assisted living environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.
• Basic understanding of personal care needs and ADLs.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in home care or senior care settings.
• Certification in caregiving or related fields.
