About the position

LT Home Health is a home healthcare agency dedicated to providing high-quality care to our clients in the Magnolia, Tomball, and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the personal hygiene assistance they need, which includes attending to their basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, eating, and light cleaning. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity while providing support in their daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will assist clients with ambulation and transfers, helping them move around their homes or outside for appointments and walks. In emergency situations, you will be expected to act quickly and responsibly, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients. Effective communication with your supervisor is crucial, as it helps maintain a high standard of care and ensures that all client needs are met promptly. We offer a variety of full-time and part-time positions, with flexible work schedules to accommodate your availability. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, eating, light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and shopping.
  • Assist clients with ambulation and transfer.
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
  • Reliable transportation every single day.
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • 6 months experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment preferred.
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program.
