About the position

The Personal Care Assistant position at The Felice Household involves providing care and support to special needs clients in a home environment. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, and ensuring the well-being of clients during scheduled shifts, primarily on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist special needs clients with personal care ADL tasks such as bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
• Ambulation, transfers, and positioning of clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed.
• Follow established care plans and document client progress.

Requirements

• Experience in personal care or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform bending and lifting as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a caring and compassionate attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Background check will be performed.
• CPR/BLS certification (training will be provided if required).
