About the position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position at Supported Living Group LLC is a vital role that focuses on providing non-medical support services to individuals with disabilities. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Danielson, Connecticut, Supported Living Group (SLG) is dedicated to offering person-centered support that enhances the quality of life for those we serve. As a PCA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, which may include eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. In some cases, you may provide supervision and cueing for these activities without direct hands-on assistance. This role is particularly focused on supporting elderly clients with dementia, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need in a compassionate and respectful manner. The work schedule for this position is flexible, as you will be required to work in the homes and communities of the individuals we serve. SLG operates 24/7, meaning that you will have the opportunity to work various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, throughout the week. The majority of our clients require support around the clock, while others may need assistance for as little as four hours per day. This flexibility allows you to tailor your work schedule to fit your personal needs while making a meaningful impact in the lives of those with disabilities. At SLG, we believe that every individual has the right to live in their chosen community and pursue meaningful life goals. We are looking for team members who share this philosophy and are committed to improving the quality of life for our clients.
