About the position

We are seeking a compassionate male Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to an individual in need of personal care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those they care for. This position is located in the Westchester/Inglewood area of Los Angeles, CA, and involves working closely with clients to assist them in their daily activities and personal care needs. The Personal Care Assistant will be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support, as well as assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Additionally, the role includes helping with meal preparation and occasionally feeding the client, ensuring that they receive proper nutrition and hydration. The Personal Care Assistant will also be required to administer medication under direction, follow care plans, and maintain accurate records of care provided. Mobility assistance is another key aspect of the role, which may involve lifting and transferring the client when necessary. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in social work, home community care, or nursing home settings, and possess knowledge of first aid procedures to respond to emergencies promptly. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality is essential, as is experience in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Certification in CPR is required for this position.

Responsibilities
