Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and monitoring patient conditions to ensure they receive the best possible care. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations, which are essential in a healthcare environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior.
  • Assist with medication management, including medication administration and monitoring.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and laundry.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient care and progress in medical records.

Requirements

  • Experience in geriatric care or similar setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or LPN certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, including emergency situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as needed.
  • Knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures.

  • Experience working in an outpatient setting.
