Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff management, and families.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
  • Provide physical resident care, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident's needs.
  • Assist in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and document meal intake.
  • Know proper technique for first aid.
  • Complete documentation of medication reminders.
  • Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents.
  • Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
  • Assist residents to and from activities.
  • Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Great customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.
  • Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all nurses are encouraged to apply.
  • Nurse Aide Certification is a plus, but not required.

Nice-to-haves
