About the position

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Right at Home Northwest, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community. You will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to clients, which may include helping with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Your work will involve building meaningful relationships with clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and supporting them in maintaining their independence. The role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to arrange shifts that fit your personal commitments. You will receive competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on your experience and certifications. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including help with daily living activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Prepare meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients to enhance their quality of life.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Preferred six months of experience as a caregiver, either personal or professional.
  • Must have a compassionate demeanor and a desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured automobile for work.
