About the position

Springview Assisted Living is seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team on the 2nd shift, which runs from 3 PM to 11 PM. This role is essential in providing compassionate care and support to our residents, enhancing their daily lives and ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a PCA, you will be responsible for assisting residents with various activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also help with housekeeping and laundry tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents. New hires will receive comprehensive training, both online and practical, to equip them with the necessary skills to succeed in their roles. This includes following the instructions of your supervisor and maintaining excellent communication with both residents and team members. We are looking for individuals who are punctual, professional, and willing to assist wherever needed. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.

  • Follow supervisor's instructions to adhere to corporate policies and state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and team members.
  • Dress professionally in scrubs and maintain punctuality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Ability to pass TB testing, drug testing, and criminal background checks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or Med-Tech is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and receive training in elderly care.
