About the position
Cafe Rio is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as restaurant staff. Positions available include line cook, prep cook, dishwasher, cashier, and management assistant. The role focuses on creating memorable customer experiences through personal connections while maintaining a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, roll burritos, and take orders to create a memorable customer experience.
- Follow recipes and preparation procedures accurately.
- Portion, prepare, and serve fresh food without the use of freezers or microwaves.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety by adhering to hygiene and safety procedures.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and upbeat manner, including singing and dancing during work.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand for more than 8 hours.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Culinary skills (knife skills, following recipes, cooking) are a plus.
