About the position
The Personal Designer at Michaels is responsible for creating custom framing solutions while building strong customer relationships. This part-time role involves assisting customers in finding products, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring high-quality framing orders are completed on time. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as delivering excellent customer service during nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions.
- Help customers shop the store and locate products.
- Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs.
- Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
- Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
- Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding what they need.
- Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
- Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
- Assist with Omni channel processes.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
- Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
