About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support in both personal and professional capacities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills, a strong service orientation, and the ability to manage various household tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with a variety of responsibilities, including housekeeping management, event planning, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the household calendar, including scheduling appointments, reminders, and coordinating family schedules
  • Perform various housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizing living spaces
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and mailing packages
  • Plan and prepare daily meals according to dietary preferences and restrictions
  • Oversee home maintenance and repair projects, liaising with contractors and service providers
  • Manage household bills and budget, including tracking expenses and making payments
  • Provide pet care, including feeding, walking, and arranging veterinary appointments
  • Assist with event planning, hosting, and cleanup for family gatherings and social events
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Manage household inventories for supplies, groceries, and other necessities
  • Communicate effectively with family members to ensure their needs are met
  • Perform personal shopping tasks and gift buying as requested
  • Oversee the care of indoor and outdoor plants
  • Adapt to changing schedules and priorities in a proactive and efficient manner

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certifications a plus
  • Ability to perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and ironing with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with home maintenance
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to cook and prepare meals following specific dietary requirements is preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds
