About the position
The Personal Injury Attorney position at an award-winning law firm in Lebanon, Tennessee, is designed for an experienced legal professional with a strong commitment to client representation. The firm is expanding its team and seeks a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury and/or general litigation, who can manage cases from intake to completion while thriving in a supportive and collegial office environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake to completion.
- Take and defend depositions, handle discovery, and draft and argue motions.
- Prepare for trials and engage in settlement negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both orally and in writing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury or general litigation.
- Proficiency in taking and defending depositions, handling discovery, drafting and arguing motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong academic background from an ABA-approved law school preferred.
- Licensed in Tennessee and in good standing.
Nice-to-haves
- Trial experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a collegial office environment.
