About the position

The Personal Injury Case Manager at The Morgan Law Group is responsible for managing personal injury claims during the pre-litigation stage. This role involves initiating claims with insurance companies, coordinating medical treatment for clients, and ensuring comprehensive documentation and communication throughout the claims process. The position is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law, looking to contribute to a dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate claims by contacting insurance companies and documenting claim details in Clio.
  • Request accident reports and additional documentation to support client claims.
  • Set up and organize case files in Clio, maintaining accurate records throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication and scheduling with medical providers.
  • Track and manage treatment schedules, assisting clients with coordination and ensuring consistency in care.
  • Request, gather, and organize medical records and bills, negotiating reductions on medical bills with providers.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case progression, escalating cases as needed.
  • Maintain regular updates on case status in Clio, providing timely information to support effective case management.
  • Work closely with case managers and attorneys to ensure case files are complete and ready for transition to the next phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is beneficial.
  • 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law or as a Case Manager.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of case management software, specifically Clio.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
