About the position

Payne & du Toit is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join their legal team in Atlanta, focusing on personal injury litigation. The role involves managing various types of personal injury cases, ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders, and maintaining organized case files throughout the legal process.

Responsibilities

• Handle all pre-suit personal injury claims from intake to settlement.
• Maintain extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
• Gather, analyze, and research information to manage a healthy caseload.
• Act as the center of communication for clients, attorneys, medical providers, lien holders, and insurance companies.
• Educate clients on processes and set appropriate expectations.
• Coordinate medical care for clients as necessary.
• Gather all records and bills necessary to advance cases.
• Prepare all written correspondence, including demands and subrogation letters.
• Gather necessary information to advance and investigate cases, including police reports and evidence from the scene.
• Conduct regular file reviews and provide client updates.
• Manage inbound and outbound client calls in a timely manner.
• Take on other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 1-2 years of personal injury law firm experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Accessible via phone, email, and in-person for efficient communication.
