About the position

The Personal Injury Coordinator will assist the Director in overseeing the day-to-day functions of the personal injury treatment process.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and clients throughout the personal injury claims process.
  • Collects and organizes all necessary documentation related to patients’ cases.
  • Communicates with insurance carriers, medical providers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Schedules appointments and follow-up meetings with patients and legal team.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all patient interactions and case details.
  • Assists with drafting legal documents and correspondence as needed.
  • Processes and documents scheduling requests from law firms, referring physicians, or self-referrals.
  • Uploads individual records and corresponding Letters of Protection to each patient’s account and located under the respective firm’s account profile.
  • Assists in managing personal injury emails and incoming correspondence. Contacts each respective firm within 24 hours to process their request.
  • Manages and updates various reports for optimal tracking of pending authorizations.
  • Properly manages records, uploads them into the appropriate account and patient’s chart.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2 or more years of work experience in a legal support role, preferably personal injury law.
  • Bilingual highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of personal injury cases and treatment processes.
