About the position

We are a downtown personal injury law firm seeking a dedicated legal assistant to support our personal injury litigation work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of legal experience in a busy law office environment, demonstrating strong customer service skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including managing phone communications, preparing legal documents, and assisting attorneys with case management. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to follow through on tasks and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Word is preferred, and fluency in Spanish is a plus but not mandatory. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a starting salary of $40,000 per year, which may increase after 90 days based on performance and growth within the firm.

Requirements
