Responsibilities
- Open claims with insurance companies and governmental claims.
- Assist clients with property damage, including collecting rental, loss of use, and personal property damage.
- Coordinate medical appointments for clients, including chiropractic, MRI, specialist pain management, and rehabilitation.
- Collect Med Pay and all relevant bills and reports.
- Send demand letters and medical specials to insurance companies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in personal injury law.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of e-filing procedures and California rules.
- Familiarity with California discovery rules.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is a plus.
