About the position

The Paralegal/Legal Assistant position at our growing law firm is a vital role within our expanding personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys throughout all phases of a case, which includes initial client intake, managing discovery processes, and preparing for trial. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle a high volume of cases and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with court procedures and filing requirements, ensuring that all legal documents are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner. In this role, you will be expected to assist in gathering evidence, drafting legal documents, and maintaining case files. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and organized. The ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base.
