About the position

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Legal Secretary in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be central in supporting our law firm client's attorneys with a primary focus on personal injury litigation. Your duties will involve tasks such as calendar management, case management, and court filings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the legal team's calendar, ensuring all deadlines and appointments are accurately recorded and met.
• Use Case Management Software to track and manage all cases effectively, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
• Prepare and file court documents related to personal injury cases, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and submitted on time.
• Use Aderant and CompuLaw software to handle various legal tasks efficiently.
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat and the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for document handling and data management.
• Perform billing functions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare briefing materials for the legal team to use in court cases and meetings.
• Manage client relations, maintaining professional and effective communication with all clients.
• Utilize knowledge of consumer electronics to support office operations and client interactions.
• Handle docketing duties, ensuring all court dates and legal deadlines are accurately recorded and tracked.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Injury Legal Secretary
• Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat
• Proficiency in Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
• Experience with Case Management Software
• Proficiency in CompuLaw
• Ability to handle billing functions efficiently
• Experience in briefing and calendar management
• Excellent client relations skills
• Experience in Calendar - Docket management
