About the position

The Law Office of Ligori & Ligori is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Litigation Assistant to join our team. This full-time position is essential in supporting our personal injury lawyers who are committed to helping clients who have suffered due to the negligence of others. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing various legal documents and ensuring that all necessary materials are organized and readily available for depositions, hearings, and trials. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing deposition, hearing, and trial binders, as well as expert binders for depositions and expert meetings. You will also be tasked with requesting and updating all medical records and bills, confirming requests for copies, and drafting letters to providers for medical records of lien holders. Additionally, you will assist in updating medical bill outlines and organizing litigation files for trial. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are paramount in this position, as you will be handling sensitive information and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete. Responsibilities

  • Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial binders.
  • Prepare expert binders for depositions and expert meetings.
  • Request and update all medical records and bills.
  • Confirm requests for copies and objections to NPNP documents.
  • Draft letters to providers for medical records of lien holders.
  • Assist in updating medical bill outlines.
  • Organize litigation files for trial.

Requirements

  • Experience in Litserv and preparation of binders for hearings/depositions and medical records.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • At least one year of litigation assistant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills with great phone and computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
