About the position

The Account Representative at Pegasus Legal Capital plays a crucial role in overseeing the funding aspects of personal injury cases. This position involves acting as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and law firms, ensuring smooth communication and efficient case management. The representative will be responsible for executing contracts, tracking case statuses, and conducting research to support the funding process, all while maintaining a high level of detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact between the company and clients, and law firms handling cases.
• Send out contracts via Docusign.
• Work closely with legal professionals to ensure the smooth progression of funding cases.
• Develop an understanding of the case management system and utilize it to track and update case information.
• Monitor the progress of cases by regularly communicating with law firms to obtain the latest developments, court dates, and any other pertinent information related to cases.
• Conduct thorough research to gather additional case-related information.
• Stay up to date on updates regarding cases.

Requirements

• Associate's or higher degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Personal Injury paralegal for at least 2-3 years.
• Strong understanding of personal injury legal processes.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills - written, phone, in person - for interacting with clients and legal professionals.
• Proven ability to set and exceed objectives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
