As a Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for handling personal injury litigation cases and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. This role requires direct contact with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the cases. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Drafting legal documents, including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, interrogatories, and other legal documents according to judicial procedures.
  • Conducting legal research and providing written analysis on statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources.
  • Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings.

Requirements

  • Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to tasks and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with legal research tools and software.
  • Experience with case management software.
  • Knowledge of personal injury litigation processes.
