We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our plaintiff firm in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation, whether from the plaintiff or defense side. This role is crucial in assisting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation matters related to personal injury cases. The candidate will be responsible for preparing documents for filing in both federal and state courts, ensuring that all submissions are accurate and timely. In addition to document preparation, the paralegal will assist in trial preparation, which includes organizing case files, preparing exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses. Strong organizational skills are essential, as the candidate will need to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also required, as the paralegal will interact with clients, attorneys, and court personnel regularly. The position requires analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively support the legal team in strategizing for trials, depositions, and mediations. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, will be highly regarded, as this skill can enhance communication with a diverse client base. The work environment is primarily in-office, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week after the probation period.
